Reservation Reminders and Lottery Strategies this week

Havasupai / Havasu Falls Campground Reservations

General reservations for Havasupai open on February 1st. (https://www.havasupaireservations.com/)
Campground open from February 1st to November 30th; Lodge reservations available from April 1st to November 30th.
Set alarms for 8 am Arizona time on the Havasupai Reservation page; consider checking an hour earlier.

Mount Whitney Lottery

Mt. Whitney’s lottery reservations open on February 1st for the season between May 1st and November 1st.
Reservations, including day use and overnight permits, only available through the lottery system.
22-mile round-trip hike takes 12 to 14 hours; one application per group, reserve for up to 15 people.
Lottery results announced on March 15th.
